Preaching may be the most visible job Ron does but it is certainly not the only one. Ron has been here at Oak Ridge for 20 years, since the beginning, but he does oh so much more than just preach. You will have a hard time catching Ron in the office because he is out taking care of his Oak Ridge family, while also planning powerful sermon series, adult classes, & casting vision for Oak Ridge. What a guy!

David has been serving students for over 20 years through classroom teaching and youth ministry. He first became part of our church family in 2011, spent several years serving in youth ministry in West Texas, and returned home in 2019. He joined our staff as Youth Minister in July 2025. David loves helping young people grow in their faith, singing devotional songs together, and creating meaningful camp and retreat experiences. He especially loves Oak Ridge because it gave him roots—literally. Just ask him about that story! 

Chelsea is the newest member of the ministry team at Oak Ridge. She has led our Matthew's Place ministry for Special Needs people for several years and has taken on the additional responsibility of leading our Children's Ministry. 

After 13 years of serving Oak Ridge as our Children’s Minister, Darla has moved into a new role as our Engagement Minister! She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and serves our community in mighty ways through this ministry.

Since 2016, Abigail has been leading Oak Ridge in worship on Sunday mornings along with her “side gig” as the Head Choir Director at Weatherford High School. It is evident how much time &  thought go into her song choices & that she pays close attention to wherever the Spirit calls her to lead during our service. 

Jaylee keeps it all together. Managing our office, coordinating our communications, and being our contact person for all things Oak Ridge
